We are a collaboration of performing, teaching, and production artists who cultivate a commitment to excellence and creativity for the development of human potential and civic engagement.
About Us
Young Artists Conservatory of Music (YACM) was founded in April 2005 by long time piano instructor Wanda Cook. Mrs. Cook held the conviction that high quality music lessons and exceptional performance experiences had the power to unlock exceptional human development.
Located in Vacaville Solano County, YACM provides suburban families an immersive and a comprehensive music education that develops musicianship, creativity, critical thinking, and confidence.
Today, nearly 15 years later, YACM is the largest most respected pre-college arts education organization in the North-bay Region. We offer entry classes for new learners, standardized private instruction, music theory, ensemble and performances in our Core-Arts department. Solano Youth Theatre produces 2 large scale musicals each year and our Music Matters program provide 1800 annual public school children throughout the region benefit from music enrichment classes on campus.

In 2005, Young Artists Conservatory of Music (YACM) was founded on the conviction that the arts provide the greatest means to develop human potential and social cohesion.
As Solano’s foremost arts education organization, we invest in the unlimited potential of youth through exceptional arts education and significant performance experiences. Across a broad demographic spectrum of youth, YACM coordinates resources designed to cultivate musical talent, nurture appreciative, confident, creative, and resilient young people, while promoting regional participation in the arts.

We provide potential-achieving music education and performing arts events on behalf of the children of Solano County to assure the general youth population always has access to excellent music education.

Young Artists Conservatory of Music is a 501c (3) tax-exempt music education and performing arts organization. Cash donations to YACM are tax deductible in according to IRS codes.
