Summer Partnerships in Performance

Young Artists Conservatory has been busy at work making music to transform community. Today, Featured Violinist, Avalon Cook will be performing with collaborating cellist, Gerard Parker at the open house of Heartly House at 100 Buck St. We receive ongoing requests to support community events with our musicians. Last month 4 YACM instructors, Wayne Gross (saxophone), Marion Oliver (piano, vocals), Jim Lucas (bass) Stefan Barboza (guitar) performed as jazz quartet for a private retirement party at the Buck Mansion. Over 50 elementary chorus students under the direction of YACM instructor Shanda Daranouvong performed the National Anthem at the Oakland A’s on August 4th. We’re always looking for partnerships to raise awareness for the value of excellence in music education. We’re looking for unique and fundable ideas that promote opportunities in the musical arts.
