Other Music starts at 4:15, October 31

It’s a Vacaville tradition of community togetherness reminiscent of small town Americana. Thousands of family members will converge on Main Street Vacaville tomorrow at 4:00 pm to stroll businesses in search of candy and costume clad friends.

For 13 Years, the classically trained students of Young Artists Conservatory of Music (YACM) have entertained the Halloween Strollers with a scary and ghoulish live music pop / rock concert. Music is set to begin at 4:15 and conclude around 5:45.

You’re Invited to meet up at 5:30 pm on Main Street (which will be closed) just in-front of Town Square to dance our Traditional Finale – “The Thriller” with live cover music from the YACM band TNT.

“Families and friends all together having fun in our community is what music and the arts contribute to community”, says founder and Artistic Director, Wanda Cook.

Featured Mezzo-Soprano Vocal Student, Catie Whittet (17), will lead willing zombies through a short instructional of some of the simplest and characteristically known “Thriller” dance steps. “So brush up on your Zombie steps and join the Thriller Community Dance Along at about 5:30”, invites Cook. “You’ll know its about to begin, when our TNT rock band performs a cover of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, just prior to the start of Thriller”.

Dancing with Catie are the rest of the Thriller Vocal Ensemble, Featured soprano Senzel Ahmady (17), soprano Rowan Dalisay (13), and alto Crystal Kearns (15) along with many of FUSE, an award winning A cappella Youth Vocal group.

In addition to “Thriller” The TNT band will perform a cover of The Cranberries “Zombie” sung by Rowan Dalisay and Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody with Lead Guitar by Ethan Caro (15). Other YACM groups performing at the Halloween Stroll include
