Introducing Stefan Barboza, Guitar

Stefan Barboza’s Music career spans over 40 years. He is “All about music”.

Born in London, England, music has been Stefan’s passion since he was a young boy. At the age of 15 Stefan played guitar in his first band for GI’s in Italy where his father was stationed.

From that point on Stefan has never looked back.

He taught himself how to play keyboards when another band he was in wanted to add keyboards to the music they performed. Over his career Stefan has been in 6 different bands and was most recently asked to join “Afterglow” an all original rock band that has been featured in a popular PBS television special.

He also works with the crowd pleasing Sterling Silver Band playing throughout Northern California and Nevada.

Live performance has lead Stefan to share his passion for music by teaching music to both young and older students. He has been teaching for the past 15 years.

Stefan teaches acoustic and electric guitar, piano, keyboards, ukulele, bass, and banjo. Stefan encourages his students to find the unique music that is in them and guides them toward being the best they can be.

He believes the best music is made when a student is allowed to express their own individuality. He has a gift and a heart for teaching that keeps his students coming back year after year.

Stefan will tell you he enjoys teaching the most and gets great satisfaction watching his students learn and grow.
