Introducing Casey Ellis

Ms. Ellis is a classically trained Soprano whose specialty is empowering the theatrical voice to project through safe empowerment of the “chest voice”.

“A vocalist will feel most secure," Ms. Ellis says, "once they can effectively manager their Passagio.” That is, the transition area between the vocal registers.

Miss Ellis holds a BA in Vocal Performance from San Francisco Conservatory. She has held operatic and musical theatre roles from throughout the Bay Area, including SF Conservatory of Music, California Conservatory Theatre, Willows Theatre, Napa Playhouse, Berkeley Playhouse and others.

She can play piano, is a trained flutist, and has accepted a position with YACM’s Solano Youth Theatre as Music Director.
