Chorus Teachers Wanted: Developing Engaged and Diligent Youth

Young Artists Conservatory of Music (YACM) is looking for elementary and junior high music teachers to work with our public school enrichment programs throughout Solano County.
1. Choir instructors to teach in our after school music enrichment programs.
2. One choral position requires a dual-language (Spanish / English) instructor to fill a dual emersion language school.
4. Boys Chorus Director
3. Introduction to music instructors who will introduce first and second graders to music basics utilizing rhythm instruments, song flutes and chorus music.
Teaching assignments are part-time independent contractor positions that serve schools in the Fairfield – Suisun Unified School District of Solano County. Qualified instructors should have a college degree, 2 years experience in teaching music to children or youth, have a warm and energetic manner, and a passion for how music develops children and social cohesion in communities. Chosen candidates can expect to earn $35.00 - $50.00 per instructional hour for a minimum of 2 hours a week, depending upon school budget parameters, instructor education and experience.
