Holiday Harmonies Is Coming to Town!

Performing is an essential part of a child's musical instruction. The grace and poise acquired in performance develops a child's confidence. It also provides a memorable experience that feeds their motivation to continue to learn and grow as a musician.

Here are the essentials:

  • Date: Wednesday, December 16.

  • Time: 7:30 PM.

  • Place: Vacaville Performing Arts Theater

  • Festive Gala: 6:00 - 7:00 PM

  • All Call: 5:45 PM (Students arrive at theater).

Here are the details you need to know.

1. Dress

Girls: Dresses please, length below the knee. A skirt with a formal blouse is okay. Dress shoes, hard soles, no white shoes.

Boys: Please wear black, dark gray or dark blue dress slacks. Long sleeve dress shirt with tie. No white shirts please. We encourage our young gentleman peformers to wear a suit coat or blazer. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach young men how to dress with distinction and style. Hard soled, leather shoes, of course.

2. Rehearsals

Extra studio rehearsals will be held at the YACM campus beginning Wednesday, December 9 through Saturday, December 12. We may call students in for special rehearsals during this time.

The week of the performance, students who play in the TSO band, and SYT actors are asked to rehearse on Monday, December 14 from 3:30 to 8:30 PM.

All students will rehearse on Tuesday, December 15 from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Depending on how rehearsal goes on Tuesday, some students may be called back for additional rehearsal in the afternoon of Wednesday, December 16.

3. Tickets

Tickets for the performance may be purchased at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theater. Group tickets of more than 10 or available for $15 if purchased before December 6. Individual tickets are $20. The performance will be reserved seating. Buy your tickets now.

There is no cost for participation in the Festival Gala that precedes the performance. This is a wonderful opportunity to invite your family and friends to explore the value that the Young Artists Conservatory of Music creates in our community.

4. Volunteers and Donations

Our students rely on the YACM Community for their success. A very important part of Holiday Harmonies is our ability to project a festive, elegant occasion. This allows our children and youth to have the experience that they are involved in something significant. We host a festive Gala helps us elevate this event.

We ask for donations from the YACM Community to make this a memorable occasion for our children .

We need donations for :

  • Wine service (10 bottles of white, 10 bottles of red

  • Gift baskets

  • A "Bucket of Booze" raffle ( a festive basket of celebatory adult beverage)

We also need volunteers to help with load in and strike (loadout). We are looking foward to a wondersful celebration of the Holiday Season while helping our Student Artists experience a memorable performance that will last a lifetime.
