Welcome Waverly Cook

Waverly Cook, a multi-instrumentalist, has studied drumming since childhood. She studied under Rich Crockett here for many years and was performed as YACM Premier Performer for four years and was a Featured Soloist in 2013.

She took over the direction of Sylvan Stringers from Robbie Jimenez -- a strings and percussion ensemble.

She currently plays with a band, "Forget It". A singer, songwriter she has a number of pieces posted on her YouTube channel.

Waverly has joined our faculty as a Teaching Intern where she will focus on instructing drums and mallet percussion.
