YACM Featured Pianist wins Solano Symphony's "Young Artist's Competition"

Evan Losoya, Young Artists Conservatory of Music Featured Pianist, prepares to perform a number of original works at the Steinway Piano Gallery.
YACM Featured Pianist Evan Losoya, under the direction of teaching artist Wanda Cook, recently competed and placed first in the annual Solano Symphony "Young Artists Competition," an event that gives numerous young musicians the chance to play a concerto with Solano County's premier symphony orchestra. Evan will perform Hadyn's Piano Concerto in D Major with the 54-piece symphony at their "Salute to Youth" concert in February 2017.
Evan is not only a talented and virtuosic pianist, but also a decorated composer. Losoya recently debuted many of his own original works in a stunning concert at Steinway Piano Gallery in Walnut Creek. That event, pictured above, came just one week before his concerto audition– no small undertaking, to say the least. Not to mention that he placed second in the Music Teacher's National Association competition for composition. Please join us in congratulating him for his amazing accomplishments!
If interested, a limited number of copies of Evan's book, "At the Moment," are available for purchase. Please contact info@youngartistsconservatory.org to reserve one, and our office will get back to you shortly!
